For any of our junior athletes interested in competing in Dunedin over the season, here is the programme. Well worth getting down there on occasion, it will help boost your performance, you’ll meet a lot of other athletes and you’ll learn lots along the way. We are very keen to get a good team of our junior athletes together to send through to Dunedin to compete in the South Island Colgate Games in early January 2019. Registrations must be in by Thursday 29th Nov so if you are keen to go along, please contact the Club for more information.

Remarkable Runners & Queenstown Athletic Club AGM

Thursday 27th September, 7pm. The meeting will be held at Queenstown Lakes Family Centre office, 16B McBride Street, Frankton. We are looking for new committee members as we have existing members standing down so if you would like to be part of the future athletics development for the Wakatipu, please get along to the AGM and learn more about how you can be part of an exciting future!

Fantastic weekend for Keely Erskine

What a fantastic weekend for Keely Erskine who has been in Taranaki as part of the Otago Inter-Provincial team. She secured the Otago girls trophey for the most points and a couple of PB’s! Well done Keely, you have worked hard all season and deserve the recognition.

Fundraiser for Kate Moetaua happening this Friday

Fundraiser for Kate Moetaua happening this Friday, 24th November, 5:30-7:30pm at Chipmunks, Frankton. Children aged 1-11 years are only $10 each to go along and play. Adults are free but make sure you bring money for dinner as for $15 you can get a plate of delicious Pacific Island food!!! There will also be some great raffles happening and a sausage sizzle for the kids.
